Best of luck Noizeman

I have a simple strategy for dealing with fuel types in our house - Green Nozzle goes in Green Car - Black Nozzle goes in Black'ish Car Wink

I would feel like Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry for weeks if i had done this.
Can i ask why you are not going to use your insurance Question

Why aren't I claiming on insurance? I claimed for vandal damage a year ago on my previous car (about £1000 worth of damage) but this now counts as a 'fault' claim against me.

I consequently found it very difficult to change insurance companies when insuring the Disco and only Land Rover Insurance would give me cover, having been refused by NFU and several other specialist off-road underwriters. While I have protected no claims discount (9 years), I don't want to use up all of my remaining allowance with this one claim, rendering my discount unprotected for another two years (or is it four?).

£3000 is a lot of money and makes me want to weep but I can put this down as a business expense meaning that the government effectively pays 40% of the cost.

Thumbs Up Makes more sense now.
I once had some f****ng t**t reverse into the front of my td5 so reported it to my insurance company as you are supposed to do, and to get my version of events across. To cut a very long story short he was a uninsured driver Evil or Very Mad and the damage was minimal to my car so i never claimed.
Twisted Evil BUT I have been paying for it for the last 5 years as they say i have had an incident regardless of blame.
Evil or Very Mad IT still P****S me off Exclamation

I once asked for an insurance quote on my last car when I wanted to change insurer.
I queeried the amount quoted and asked why it was so high. They replied that it was because I had protected my no claims with my previous insurer!
So I said 'So what? I hadn't made a claim' And they said 'maybe not but we don't know that do we?' So I said 'Well you just asked me whether I had had an accident in the past 5 years didn't you?' and they said 'but that doesn't mean you havn't made a claim'!
I told them that they (the insurance industry) make the rules up as they go along and that the whole bloody industry needs an enema!

Made me feel better !
