Can't remove the detachable towbar swan neck

Hi can't remove detachable swan neck towbar this is what it looks like and is this the right key

@cam78. happy new year. There's no picture attached. some people have had issues with the tow hitch. A quick search may reveal a few clues Thumbs Up

Mine would not release at all when I got it, but 2 tins of WD40, a new lock and green handle and some major hammer induced wiggling in all directions allowed it to be removed and fully overhauled, then new handle and lock and it fitted like factory and would release correctly, mine is the Heavy duty tow hitch with multi height setting, but the throat still locks in like a swan neck stowable hitch.

maintenance is critical of any car part that gets all weathers and road grit etc.
