Yesterday I was called up to my first NW Response job, ferrying Doctors and staff in our local area into work at the out of hours emergency medical centre. I had to go off duty at 3 in order to tow the Christmas Sleigh round with Father Christmas and his elves collecting £1200 for charity in 4 hours.
The Doctors I spoke to yesterday can't believe we get penalised on RFL when there is so much good done by these vehicles.
It's crazy!
Just another "I love my D3" post really!

Yep, did 2 jobs for Hampshire & Berkshire 4x4 Response.
First to get Meals on Wheels out over Reading, its the only hot meal some of these needy people get a day.
Second, was 2 District Nurses on their "vulnerable" people home visits around Ascot & Bracknell and then to the out of hours hospital and then took them back home.
Again, they made the comment that they could not have done these night calls without us. It dropped to -9c whilst we were our and about and that was only 11pm !!2006 TDV6 HSE

Could I suggest you sign up on the forum and then make a post telling what you have done and got no response. You can also send an email from the website.

Agreed - we should all get a rebate in the snow!
Anybody willing to help out this bride to be on Thursday??
I would do but in their appeal for 4x4 help they fail to give any contact details!!
Maybe somebody on here knows them or a friend knows them??

how much she is willing to spend I will pop down to give her a lift...
Out and about since 0615 with Wessex 4x4 Response. Everything from midwives to palliative care to pathology runs and no small amount of ambulance recovery.
In between whiles we managed to grab the above pics.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
Off out again in 20 minutes - another Marie Curie nurse. Can't help but admire the resilience of these nurses; I know I couldn't do their job.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
