Change discovery 3 to look like the new disco 4?
Hi just wondering if anyone knows if you can convert your disco 3 to look like a 4?
Have seen it done on range rovers, to look like the 06+ facelift and now available to look like the 2010 range rover, so wondered if if was possible to do a conversion to make a disco 3 look like a 4?
Thanks
Richard

Hi Winslo,
Do a search as it has been covered on here a few times. IIRC it was not a straight swap on front end parts as some dimensions are slightly altered I think.
Leave it alone
Iv'e seen some pretty poor conversions in my time
Disco2 td5 with facelift 03 onwards conversions...they look hideous and everyone will point at you going..."Oh, bless he can't afford a new one"
D3 is a D3
D4 will be a D4
Final word on the subject I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Winslo, if you want a car that looks like a D4, buy a D4.
Front bumper is different. Grille is different. Headlights are different. Wings are different. Wheels are different. Seats are different. Dashboard is very different. Engine is probably the biggest difference.
Better to spend your money on stuff that makes the D3 more fun to play with in the mud.

How hard can it be, it's only a facelifted D3, not as if it's a new model!!!
ducking for cover!

Don't do it, it's a D3 and proud of it!
It would look as sad as a diesel RRS with a supercharged grill fitted Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!
