I had exactly the same with my 2011 D4... nothing lasted more than about a month.

In the end I sorted it with a pair of these: H7 Twenty20 Endurance Headlight Bulbs

That was over year ago, and they are still going strong!

Cheers guys, looks like I'll be turning the brightness down when the next one goes bang (probably in a few days!).

I've suddenly become more concerned with the dreaded "car says I'm out of fuel but I know different" problem!
