Discovery 3 VIN NUMBER RANGE?

Does anybody lnow that last D3 VIN Number before the D4 was introduced?

I ask because I have a lovely 2010 D3 and am interested in its heritage it was one of the last as it has the factory D4 rear bumper.

Since I saw this pic I was keen to get one similar (But later version of D3) and I now have. Roof bars ordered and considering some light guards and black graphics.

D3 VIN NUMBER RANGE:

Does anybody have the start/finish VIN Number Range for the entire D3 Production?

Hi Gary

From the info I have the last production date of the D3 was 26/06/2009 and the latest vin I can find is SALLAAA139A513324.

Your car is a MY2009.5 and was built on the 18/06/2009 so is one of the last, It is also newer than my D4 which is a pre production MY2010 built on the 12/05/2009.

Mine was first registered in January 2010 but the Vin is a SALLAAA139A5125** in the last 1000 but late registered for some reason. May have been one of the very last actually sold!

And the last ones they didn't sell.. ..scrapped.. ??? I have seen countless late D3's sold as a commercial version here in NL, with the TdV6 2.7 engine, into early 2010.
