Classic clips from WE WERE SOLDIERS
&NR=1
For those who have'nt yet watched this film, a classic. Its about an Yank unit commanded by Col Hal Morris, he stumbled across a hill that is FULL of gooks, the HeadQuarters and hollowed out. Top film and based on a true story as the surviving Veterans and Hal ALL helped film as advisorys, and stopped filming when it was'nt accurate.
Its a 2 disc set, and found the commentry one 8) , listening to their stories.

Consistent rib cracking good Laugh
Ghostbusters ("Ok, so she's a dog!")
Dogma. I still cry laughing at this.

The Green Mile
Best Music Soundtrack
Pink Floyd The Wall
Children's Adventure
The Princess Bride
Classics
Lord of the rings trilogy
Action
Bournes
Die Hards

Lethal Weapons
SciFi
The Matrix. The sequels were a (relative!) embarrassment but this was pivotal cinema at its best, and I still use it to tune my surround sound system.
Why aliens leave us alone
The day the earth stood still(2008) It's like a blueprint of how we'd treat them if they came.
Most acceptable Chick Flick
Roxanne
Suspense
Aliens The Directors Cut
Surprised I Really Enjoyed it
The Whole Nine Yards
Favourite Sci-fi Writer
Philip K. Dick (Bladerunner,Screamers,Total Recall,Minority Report).
Name most likely to mean I'll like the film
John Carpenter (Dark Star, Assault on Precinct 13, Halloween(s), The Fog, Escape from New York,The Thing, Christine, The Philadelphia Experiment, Starman, Big Trouble in Little China Town,Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Ghosts of Mars)
I have to say that whereas this list was accurate when I typed it, it changes almost daily.
We are living in very fortunate times with so much to entertain us. The Romans just had the games for the daytime and donkeys at night, but we can enjoy something different every day for years without a repeat Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?
