I remember going to the pictures to see Lethal Weapon, the whole audience cheered when Patsy Kensit drowned I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

OK....here go mine:
- Ronin - cracking....S8...car chases.....
- La vita è bella - "Life is beautiful"? An amazing and thought-provoking film.
- Schindlers List - still the only film to bring a tear to my eye and give me goosebumps just by mentioning it.
- The Matrix - it changed the way cinema is made
- Goodfellas - what more can I say? IMHO Pesci almost outshines De Niro in this one.
- Meet the Parents - "you can milk anything with nipples"
- Forrest Gump - very likeable film and incredible story-telling
- Shawshank Redemption - same as above - well-crafted story and well acted characters
- Nothing to Lose - Tim robbins again, but bloody funny.
- Heat - Pacino, De Niro and Kilmer...
The above films would be on my desert-island list of films....If I had to choose another two or three films to watch on the flight over there, then I would pick:
- Little Miss Sunshine
- Death at a Funeral
- Bridget Jones' Diary (1st or 2nd one) - classic british comedy2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG
