Found a new feature!!
After 7 months of D3 ownership I've just discovered that when I pull up and I have my wipers on, the wipers go to intermittent setting automatically, and return to normal mode when I pull away.
That was totally unexpected and I never knew this feature existed.
In my defence I'd like to add that 2011 was an exceptionally dry year and I mustn't have had much requirement to use my wipers.
So what's this newly discovered feature called then??????

Well.... I wanted my son to get out and get my jacket from the boot when I pulled of the road. Open all doors with unlock button, but he could not get the boot open... I then put the car in Park and the bootlid would open... strange... Proud owner of an IIDTool

Permagrin
Also if you have an auto when selecting park the heater changes from through ventilation to circular - this is to stop fumes from the vehicle in front of you getting in the car= even bigger Permagrin It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Noticed a few weeks back during the floods, after getting back into the D4 after a hike in really wet conditions.
I started the engine to dry out whilst having a coffee.
The windows had obviously misted up and the full blowing heater mode kicked in (without me selecting) and the front & rear heated screens also came on.
It wasn't really cold, so don't know how it detected the misted windows I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
