Just wondering if somebody could tell me if the petrol varients of the D3 are fitted with or can be fitted with the Webasto heater?

Cheers

Petrol D3's are not fitted with a FBH.
Why would you want to fit one to a petrol?

A V8 burns fuel enough it's warm within a mile. Mr. Green or Big Cry depends how you feel about that.

I've been wondering the same. Several pro's to having a fbh:

- ice has melted off the windows when you get to your car, no need to go clean
- cabin is nice and warm when you get in

As to the 'warm within a mile': takes about 3 miles to get a bit warmer than 'cold' and heated seats take a minute or two to really start baking your bum as well...

And by the way seeing what some amongst us have installed in their cars, I'm surprised no-one has posted a 'been there, done that' or 'look in my gallery' yet.

Very Happy

regards,

Wiljo

folks like Webasto/eberspatcher do fuel burning heaters in both diesel and petrol format (for trucks/boats/etc)

have a look at their websites.

Sound's like a recipe for a big bang IMHO... I would be happier fitting a diesel FBH and its own small fuel tank - that is what I have on my (petrol) boat.
 Cheers

I'd think an electric radiator/engine block heater might do the trick on the petrol (okay at -24 degrees might need an insulated blanket on the bonnet/hood). Not something we need here (forecast temp next week > 40C).
