Fuel tank protection
errrr.....
was under the D3 yesterday and have decide either it has to go, or a ball of cash needs spendin on it
the fuel tank cover ( its definitely not a gaurd ) now looks like a cheese grater and i reckon the fuel tank is compacted up to about 60% capacity
Is there an aftermarket tank gaurd that is up to the job ???? an believe me it'll be well tested
Also needing to be done is ALL the wishbone bushings , front n back
with the amount of corrosion on the bolts I've decided just to buy all new wishbones .... its a time n money thing, but with the bushings already fitted , it'll not cost much more than buying bushing and spending hours fitting the things
Anyway ... anyone out there with a recommendation for a complete underbody armouring set-up ..... Do i hear the crowd shouting Uncle Ray?Nine-tenths of wisdom is being wise in time.

I haven't heard of Ray making full protection plates - but that does not mean he will not / can not / won't (delete as appropriate...)
If Ray isn't supplying the protection plate you need there are others on the market (in addition to the link from grzesiul):
Rasta do full protection (but expensive...)
Wasn't AndrewS looking at making some additional protection plates (may have just been gear-box protection, though)
Ray might be your best bet for a one-off order

Kaas (forum name kbals) has a good (albeit a little dated now) roundup of D3 underbody protection on his blog here.
