Heated Clock Spring
I'm about to fit a heated steering wheel to my D3 (I know I need the wire from the forum shop and the BBS boards) but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of a cheap source for a heated clock spring. I have seen them new for about £165 and did not account for that!
So far it will cost
£225 - steering wheel
£155 - BBS Boards
£15 -wire to power wheels
£165 clock spring
For nearly £600 I hope this is worth it!

Hmm aftermarket has never appealed to me for really important parts. Let me know how you get on as the savings can't be ignored! Are you putting a D4 wheel on?

Yes it's here. I haven't fitted it yet, but it looks exactly the same as the genuine article
