Must admit I had the same thoughts......remove seats follow trip route.....refit seats before visiting dealer.....simples!

Yes I've just read that today and thought it was a bit odd, how can the wrong seat covers invalidate your warranty Confused They are basically saying if you fit anything not approved by Land Rover it invalidates your warranty.

Crap. I removed my seats to fit a fridge when I went to Morocco, and it went straight to the dealer on return for some warranty work with the fridge still in place! no questions asked, warranty work done.

They have to write something in there to make it sound like they know what they are on about !

Let's face it
When was the last time you read something in there that you actually thought !
Ah, I didn't know that !

I don't find any of the magazines helpfull or informative,

Not sure but for example if aftermarket covers are used, they may not be airbag compatible, or they may not let the electric seats move as freely as they should and could refrain the electric motors to work as needed?

Just a thought, let's ask LR or better, maybe you should just ask the lad who wrote this rather that questioning his words in public behind his back
