numberplate light in camera

I notice that when the reversing camera comes on when its dark that the number plate light is in the camera view at top corner which means reversing camera sees naff all.

anyone else have this problem? is there a known fix/adjustment as seems odd as neither camera nor number plate light position are adjustable

I guess it's possible to connect up a NC relay to the number plate lamp(s) which in turn is controlled by the reversing lamp circuit?? Fiddly, but doable. Thumbs Up

yes thought about LED's. Whats the real benefit of swapping to LED's on a car? Understand the logic at home. Obvious will save power drain on the battery I assume.
