A Puma is a MY07> Defender with a 2.4TDCI ford transit engine fitted.
My mapping on the D3 is normaly set up for a nice gain in power while trying to maintain economy.
Each car will respond differently to the tune and will therefore make its own gain on economy.
I dont offer this remap with a XXX gain on economy as there are to many factors to take into consideration,
eg how the car is driven, millage, air temps , fuel quality the list goes on.
Im running some more back to back tests for economy on 2 of my D3's now using different fuel in each car i will report there personal gains as i get the results.
What i will say is that most people report a SMALL gain ineconomy of arround 3mpg but as said this may vary from car/customer to the next.
I can change the mapping to give more power and less economy but in honesty i strongly dont advise it, your car engines life is more inportant to me and id rarther not tune it to the max.
Regards Pete
Hi Pete
3MPG gain is 12%-15% over my current 27MPG so lets not nock it!
I tend to drive my Disco much more carefully than my old Lexus and more consciously of fuel consumption.
A bit more poke and 3MPG gain is good for me.
My problem is how far away you are and the fact I do not have a PC, I only have Apple Mac computers!!!!!

60+ bhp is possibile from that engine with ease but longevity of the engine will be reduced some what.
internal component life will also reduce along with the high cylnder pressures it will create, its always best to tune to the max (in my opinion) for a car that is complex eniough to repair when it goes wrong sooner in life because of overtuning in its younger days .
The above is only said in my opinion and its not intended to offend other tuners.

I get around town 24Mpg - 28 depending on driving conditions
Motorways 30 - 36Mpg Mines a Auto and i find using cruise control helps Mpg
I think each remap works differently on each Car http://tinyurl.com/eBay-All-things-D3-Now
