Suspension Error C1131-92(AF) & C1A20-64(6C) |
|
OK team, looking for some advice.......I suspect the worst however !
Had the car loaded up last week to go away for the weekend and got a suspension fault. Ended up leaving it and taking the FL2.
Now getting round to looking at it ! I'm getting the following error codes C1131-92(AF) & C1A20-64(6C). Compressor runs for a short time then cuts off and bings or bongs with suspension fault.
Having just replaced my dryer a few months back when the compressor bracket disintegrated, I didn't think it would be that. Following the information in : http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...Update.pdf
I ordered up a LR020590 ................Compressor delivery valve kit
Fitted this today, but hasn't made any difference. Removed the inlet and exhaust pipes, and it's still the same.
Inspected the dryer for hairline cracks, but couldn't see any.
If I'm quick, as the compressor only runs for a short time, I can remove the pipe coming from the dryer (blue) and feel some air pressure with my finger, but unable to gauge wether it's sufficient.
Previously I could hear air leaking from the compressor area when it was running, but since replacing the valve kit, this seems to have stopped.
Any idea's where I should go from here, I'm suspecting the compressor needs replaced
But I might be missing something There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

Cheers Mikey !
Compressor is off the motor just now, so will give a clearer view of the pipes above.
Does it go from the dryer up to the valve block and off to the reservoir ?????
Working this morning, but can check later ........
Probably worth sticking the compressor back on and jumpering the relay to check for leaks with soapy water ????
I fear the worse, that the compressor not kicking out enough pressure. There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

If you have had 10 years out of a compressor, you are doing well!
You can bridge the relay, to run the compressor constantly, but I'm not sure how well it would work if the valve blocks don't open as expected. And you run the risk of melting it completely... My D3 Build Thread

Compressor replaced with a shiny new AMK ............ However .............
I'm still getting the C1131-92 error
Gallery does have pressure, reading with the IIDT (Will need to go back out and double check what pressure). Goes up slightly for the short period the compressor is running.
What's the chances of the resevoir valve (rvh000046) just in front of compressor being at fault ???
I see there is a goup buy http://disco3.co.uk/forum/topic122742.html There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

Nope, doesn't rise at the front or the rear !
Compressor only runs for a short time.
Only get the 1 error now, not the 2 There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

C1311-92
Air supply fault
With the compressor running, you should be able to hear and determine if you have an air leak
May also be worth double checking you havnt trapped any pipework behind the compressor bracket
Failing that, you will have to break the air system down, and block the end of the pipes, to see where the pressure stops... My D3 Build Thread

I know it gets as far as the reservoir valve in front of the compressor. Pipes are all good with none being trapped.
Guess if I disconnect the pipes to the front rear valve blocks and see if I get air. There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

Latest installment :
Took pipes off individually, leaving the feed from the compressor.
So I'm not getting anything from the resevoir.
This would suggest duff solinoid / valve ???? There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

Just to add :
I've just fired come air into the the resevoir (via garage compressor). Holding pressure, so looking more like that valve block.
Don't think there is anything more I can do other than to try changing it ...... There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.
