Painted the HSE alloys gloss black.
The original wheels in original paint were looking a bit tired and I wanted to go for metallic grey.
The car is Bonatti Grey so either color match or go for a lighter color.
At the last minute I decided gloss black.
Bought some black caps too.
Am very pleased with the overall look due to the rest of the car being very muted - dark windows and no bright trim.
I could not find many pics of black wheels on grey when I was deciding so posting some pics -
I had the wheels done at WICKED WHEELS IN Guildford. Collect and delivery - 65+ vat each.
The wheels were stripped all round, primed, painted and lacquered - as factory rather than powder coat.
Really nice finish on fronts and back of wheels.Bonatti Grey with Tundra, Duratracs, DISCO3 sticker, De-badged then rebadged in black, EGRs blanked - still saving for IC and BAS remap...

I've been thinking of getting my HSE wheels done in black, so a very useful post for me!
Got any full side-on shots?

Looks good! I bought a set of wheels from site member g30rge recently with intention of painting them black. Unfortunately can't persuade SWMBO it's a good idea!
Lot of black wheels on all sorts of motors at the moment - is it a passing phase or will they be about for years? Might wait until this time next year, then make my mind up when it's time for a set of winter tyres.
Richard.

They are just the original nuts - the caps came of eBay.
Nice one Yogi - looks nice on a black car - properly "murdered out" as they say - nice with de-tangoed...Bonatti Grey with Tundra, Duratracs, DISCO3 sticker, De-badged then rebadged in black, EGRs blanked - still saving for IC and BAS remap...
