[For Sale] 2004 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto- SOLD SOLD SOLD
NOW SOLD
FOR SALE: Land Rover Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto
After nine very happy years the day has finally come!
- One owner from new (purchased in December 2004)
- 93, 850 miles (verified by MOT certs)
- Zambezi silver
- Good service history (all receipts/invoices over last 9 years)
- Timing belt service done in Jan 2012
- 18" 10-spoke "Style 2" Alloys
- Alpine roof (three sunroofs)
- Well equipped with satellite navigation, heated front and rear seats, xenon headlights, rear PDC, full black leather interior, Harmon Kardon sound system,
Mainly used for city/motorway driving as the family wagon, never towed, only one (gentle) off road excursion (the DISCO3 off road training day in Tong back in 2007), had a very easy life.
- 3 tyres are nearly new Wranger HPs but one (front N/S) is getting quite bare (around 3mm).
- Overall it's in very good condition for its age. It has a couple of minor car park dings and marks, including a minor scuff to the black plastic of the rear bumper due to a recent fight with a car park bollard, and a motorway stone chip to the left of the front registration plate, but nothing untoward. Could all be touched up with the time/inclination to do so.
I hope I have covered everything I need to there.
Being Land Rover enthusiasts the car has been well looked after and has always been taken care of by Land Rover main dealers (Pentland Land Rover and Stratstone) and recently an independent Land Rover specialist (White's Land Rover and Range Rover Specialists in Edinburgh). It's had an easy life and is in very good nick. It will make an excellent workhorse for somebody, or a blank canvas for someone to accessorise/modify.
It has just been fully valeted to a professional/dealer standard.

Yes Andy White has been maintaining it since it came out of warranty. He knows them inside out and part by part. He's now looking after my D2 too
Micky, it has been replaced with a silver D4 HSE - the only reason for this sale!
Yeah still got my D2 - spending a lot of time (and dare I say money) on it keeping it up to scratch. Recently flew through its MOT with no advisories 2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

This one was spec'd up quite closely to the HSE. But it doesn't have front parking sensors or the 4x4 information display on the sat nav screen (however than can be enabled by tech gurus!).2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

Thanks, what cost are we looking at for adding those cheers, does it have the fridge thing.
Can you add front parking sensors, if so how much and also how much to add the 4x4 thing, would I need that anyway?
Can you use the stereo for Bluetooth hands free via your mobile, I own an iphone 5?
Also what about the cam belt issue, very tempted just regarding the cambelt and id be worrie did be left with a few grand bill for it in a few years and also only 1 months MOT left? Looking to buy quick ie this week also.
TBH I don't have front parking sensors but never really needed them, think the loom is there you just need to get the sensors, there is a big difference between original and OEM but one was not in stock, there was a post on here a few weeks back saying this and the price difference, not too sure then but think you have to get them enabled, anyone with a faultmate (Wiggs, Bodsey, Geoff etc) to name but a few can do this, they can also enable your 4x4 screen but would need to speak to them about costs.
The 4x4 screen is ok, I use the compass when I get stuck in a traffic jam, I look at the map then just head in the direction I am traveling eg Leeds to London head south and vice verse. It also shows what terrain response you are in and your height settings. Sure it does more and someone else will let you know.
Belts been done says so in the list

Does anyone know if you can use the stereo/sat nav unit with hands free on your mobile via Bluetooth, im sure my sister could on her 55 plate?

You will be able to as long as it has a Bluetooth module fitted.
I don't see that on the list so no, can be added but.

Thanks, is that on the HSE version, anyone know how much to add the Bluetooth module, sorry for so many questions, just a big purchase for me and need to be sure I get the right one.
This example is perfect, Id just need to add side steps, tinted rear windows, maybe front parking sensors and I defo need handsfree from stereo fro safe driving.
