exhaust bung for air jacks
I need an exhaust bung and I have a choice between £25 on the nodosh version now sold by GN Vehicle Protection, or a 3 inch drain test plug for a fiver. Has anyone tried the latter and is there a real difference?
If you can get a double-bung test plug for a fiver, do it! You'll still need to put an extended collar on the wing nut though.
think they're 2"though. haven't got one near me to check at the momentI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

You may struggle to get a 3" bung in far enough to tighten it. Single bungs tend to fly out at a rate of knots, denting knees and garage doors alike. I'll check the size use and get back to youI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
hmmm, just noticed you have a V8. Definitely a 50mm double on the tdv6, horobin part number 76022.
Just checked and I supplied these to a number of people with V8s with no problems. you try a 65mm plug (76032) but I suspect it may be difficult to get it far enough around the bend in the last couple of inches of tailpipe to get an effective seal.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

you may find the 65mm gives you a better fit, but I'd check the diameter in both vertical and horizontal at the bend first.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
