Pirelli scorpion zero
I have just bought a d3 which is shod with the same as the original factory fit tyres. I know that they are not highly regarded but there is some life left in them before I replace with something better/longer lasting etc. I am sure that they are scorpion zeros.
What is the recommended psi front and rear for these?

I have these
Pirelli zero's .... I have these also ... 255/55 R19 111v M+S
However seem to wear quite quickly and the ATR version is being discontinued ??
Was the ATR a better tyre then ?? and does it wear less ??D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.

Pirelli Zero....great road tyre when fresh.......apparently maunfactured from Swiss cheese,sadly....struggled to get 10k out of a set on rural roads...that was on the D3 on 18's..........the current 20" ones on the D4's seem to be wearing better strangely....wonder if the firmer suspension and greater resistance to roll on the D4 is kinder to them ? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I like the Zero's, mine never lasted more than about 18k miles though. But they're a soft(ish) compound and this combined with the weight and torque of a D3/4 account for the relatively low mileage in comparison to other tyres.
IMO, still the best on-road biased tyre for steering feel and response though.

I am currently running 19" GG AT's on my "winter/off road " 2nd set of wheels, but when the time comes to replace the Scorps on my 20" wheels,I will have no hesitation in replacing with Scorpions again.....as suggested by LT,for feel and grip, they are beyond reproach.....for me,it's just their wear rate that lets them down "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Maybe I have done them a disservice then. When the time comes I won't dismiss them out of hand when choosing.

May be worth a bit of research on that tyre leader web site. I think they send the tyres from overseas and from what i can see the bargain ones were made 6 years ago.D4

How can you tell?
I assume that tyres have a shelf life?

If you run your mouse over some of the descriptions you will find the production dates go back to 2008 and also low stock levels and end of line. The tyres have a production date on the side. If you buy new tyres thats what you want ie made in the last year.D4
