A Frames (non winch version) Bargain
Nick at Yeovil LR parts department has more bargains - this time its the Non Winch version A-Frames normally priced at £395 - but at special members rate of £95 inc vat £11.00 P+P. He has 20 in stock from LR as part of the accessory clearance that they appear to be going thru at the moment. its a one time offer as its unlikely that he'll get allocated any more, so don't miss it 2004 Discovery 3 - gone

Probably something to do with this
EU Legislation Changes-Front Protection Bars
Due to legislation changes within the EU the following front protection bars will not be legal to sell as a new fitment to vehicles within the EU after 27th May 07. However the following parts can be sold within the EU but strictly to replace damaged bars already fitted.

I'm tempted, but am wondering how awkward it makes getting the grill off to clean the heat-exchanger matrix or change the headlight direction.
Can anyone who has one fitted offer an opinion? If it needs to come off, how long does it take to demount and re-fit on average?
thanks,

They're not too bad to fit. It helps to have the TFC instructions to go with the LR ones.
The grill still comes off from behind the A-Bar with out too much fuss - to be honest the biggest pain when washing sh... err mud out of the radiator is the LR driving lamps - but you can swivel them out of the way too
I'd definitely recommend getting one at £95 if you haven't already got one - they're the DD's
Stu - you can gaffer tape over your 50mm holes - you won't see them because the lamps hung the other way up on the A-bar almost touch the top of the bumperSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
