Just in case any body is looking for upgraded silicone intercooler hoses, I came accross Island 4x4 (kent) selling a 3 hose kit for the TDV6 at £60+vat + free P&P Admin on Facebook Discovery 3 & 4 Ownersgroup
Cambelt, Fuel Pump Belt, Oil Pump & Water pump replaced by Flack
Mods:
D4 Conversion (front & rear)
BAS (Bodsy) remap + EGR Delete
FBH Smart Controller
D4 Screen/Navigation

I can't vouch for the quality of the Island 4x4 set, but beware that some of the silicone ones on the market go 'soft' when in contact with engine oil for period of time.....
I can vouch for the Allisport ones, they won't do this

Just replaced the hose due to loads of smoke and finding a 3 inch split, new hose on and a lot less smoke but still more than it used to have.... any ideas???? no loss of power and no funny sounds???  Transit Custom LWB

Have you checked the hose on the other side of the intercooler?, there is also another short length hose that connects to the turbo... might be worth a look Admin on Facebook Discovery 3 & 4 Ownersgroup

It will still smoke until it clears all the soot out of it lungs.
Get it hot, find a motorway slip road, plant it in 3rd or 4th, and keep your foot in as long as you dare.
Will see clouds and clouds of black smoke come out, until it is blown all the  out My D3 Build Thread
