It's got to be a female just had new lower arms,wheel bearing,full service and tracking done this morning. Returning home park brake fault bongs up and gear numbers disappear.stop and check reverse lights nope they've gone AWOL quick check on this sites great search engine reveals xyz switch.quick call to my tame mechanic after he stops laughing give me the good news it's going to need a clutch.theres another grand going On the plus side no knocks or clonks and drives sweet you've got to love these motors

recalibrate the XY sensor will fix the no reverse light and gear number display.
Find a quite bit of road, reverse up, then work your way through all the gears. Restart and error should have cleared.
If you search on here you'll find the procedure, rather than my shortened version There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

Have done the recalibrate all working again but clutch has started to slip when using the loud pedal
