This morning found that someone has stolen my tow hitch. If anyone knows where I can get a replacement that does not cost £500 please let me know.

Commiserations, some low life had mine away too from off my driveway a couple of months ago
Fortunately they come up on here quite often, I picked up a replacement for about £120 or so.
Just keep an eye on the "for sale & wanted" section

Never nice but putting up a 'wanted' post should get you a replacement.
They take seconds to nick and akin to taping 2 x £50 notes to the back bumper. Mine lives in the garage as they are dead weight when not needed and I do not have to do unexpected towing.

That's the reason I went for a fixed tow bar. Also adds the extra protection if someone was to slide into the back of you.

There are a few on The Bay, but prices seem to be rising .......one is currently at £220
Only have it on he back of mine when needed and +1 for a spare wheel protector Iggy/Ieuan

You can get the tow hitch here in Germany new for around 288.-£ from a dealer.
I can't say the shipping costs right now, but seems like a cheaper alternative than 500.-£...
