Whats happened to me?
So picked up my new to me D4 XS yesterday and have spent most of this evening reading the manual.......
Whats that all about? No one said this would happen after purchasing a disco. On a Saturday too....

I'm sorry, that's nothing.
I got the dealer to let me have the handbook from my new to me XS a couple of days before I collected it, so you have nothing to worry about!
Congratulations by the way!

That's ok, I studied all the new wiring diagrams and workshop manual before picking up my new D4.
Well you never know what may happen on the journey back. I did get a wry smile from Duckworth's when I transferred my on-road tool kit, diagnostic equipment and recovery gear from my D3 to D4....

I downloaded a PDF of the handbook and read it before I collected mine!
I have heard stories of manufactures not accepting warranty claims if people don't follow the instructions! (Vauxhall used to do this when you broke the speedo by resetting the trip counter while driving!)
Might have a flick though the PDF this evening...MY14 post man pat van

In the week waiting for mine, I think I read the whole manual about 8 times... Even the bits that I didn't have in my car Justin
You are not alone...
When i went to the dealer and decided to buy my D3
i took the folder with the manuals with me.
had to wait almost 2 weeks before i got the car.
Think i must have read the "user manual" at least 2 times by the time i collected the D3
Nowdays i have them in the phone and Tablet, also workshop manuals.
regards
Jan.
