How can I do this?
The twin tail pipes not for everyone I know but I like it how do these fit the downward facing d3 standard tailpipes and where? Ideally I'd have to big square / rectangular onesblessed are the losers ,for they determine the winners

To be honest, it all depends if you want to comply with MOT regs.
I seem to recall your exhaust must vent downwards on a diesel and with the previous links, it still will do but that only gives you 2 x single tailpipes. You could then add a straight twin outlet pipe to each of your singles or cobble something together to get the effect you're after.
You could on the other hand fit these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dual-Stainless-S...0161wt_784 which possibly don't comply with regs but could be removed at MOT time.
Beware however, other posters have reported melting bumpers with the last link. Mods:

8) ok mot wise is no biggie as you say I can just whip them off!
I take it there's no adverse effects from venting it this way? Or I guess I could possibly alter it by cutting a hole out like the first link so it still goes down? Much to ponder. Thanks for the help so far blessed are the losers ,for they determine the winners

I had a Fabia vRS, 1.9 diesel. Came from the factory with a straight rear exhaust.

Not an MOT fail if a DPF is fitted. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

No, a D3 doesn't have a DPF unless specifically ordered with one, and I think that was only really available in mainland Europe.
The soot in the tailpipe is a dead giveaway that there is no DPF fitted. A DPF equipped car has a clean tailpipe.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
