Im slowley adding instructions and pictures for the fitting of the blanking shims but most of the obvious info is listed on the web page.

I'm going to order that right away but stumbled upon a few things... Hope you understand 
1 - How to determine if I have DPF or not?
2 - It states "BAS Remap Interface File Upload" Is that the Tuned file or the original file and would it mean that when I switch back to Non-Tuned with your tool I'd get issues with the EGR reading?

You V5 should tell you if DPF or not or as Geoff mentions try my website search box with your vin number, we have made many site changes recently so the search box may still be getting updates slightly.
Ive edited the web shop to state BAS original File Upload.
Yes when you switch back to non tuned the patch will be removed, though it is possibile to have a 2nd file that is standard power and only the egr patch should you wish to drive the car on a normal power map and keep the emulators active.
If your car is ever going to main dealers for work done then the EGR emulators and the BAS remap interface combined is not pratical solution really because as stated on the BAS remap interface, you MUST always return the car to original for dealer visits to prevent firmware lockout.
This will also remove the patch which cant be avoided, that said not many will be going to the dealers for work especially if they have emulated egr valves fitted so this should not be a problem ????

Specifications
The 2.7L TDV6 Discovery 3 & RangeRover Sport from 2007 to 2009 is known to have EGR valve problems and currently can not be effectivly blanked without an engine management light on until now.
BAS have produced a EGR emulation kit that attaches to the egr valve wiring allong with a software patch to keep the engine management happy.
The EGR emulators combined with the egr software patch allow the engine management to still output a valve postion in live data at idle speed should it be needed at MOT time unlike some badly made total software blocks that some tuning companys offer…..
We at BAS prefer to see the egr valves working in live data diagnostic screens at idle speeds to keep the MOT computers happy within the EU amongst other technical reasons.
The emulators connect directly to the egr valve wiring on the engine wiring loom as well as a 12V+ feed from each box one from the fuse box and another from the MAF power feed. See fitting instructions for more info. Simple electronic skills will be needed for fitting.
The two emulators come supplied with two small blanking shims which MUST be fitted bwtween the egr valve body and the egr outlet pipe to block any exhaust gas flow. The plastic inlet butterfly MUST be removed as part of the install process.
PLEASE NOTE USAGE TERMS….
EGR emulators are designed to work ONLY with a dedicated BAS EGR software patch on NON DPF cars only.
The software patch needed can be applied in several ways,
1. BAS Remap interface, (existing or new users)
2. MPF Remap Interface, (existing or new users)
3. At BAS workshops when you have selected the BAS fitting option.
4. Engine ECU sent to us by post for bench programming.
5. At one of the BAS remap tuning dealer outlets.
We do not offer or support any other tuning brand remap or programming interface or device…..

If the Android MPF hardware only is purchased allong with the emulators we can use this to apply a patch to existing tuning you may have.

The PC Based BAS Remap Interface will NOT however be offered to support the emulators on non BAS already tuned cars, as its to complex to manage no non bas cars due to us not having your original file as your original tuner will have it.

Sorry for sounding a bit thick, are you saying you do not offer or support any other tuning brand remap or that you do if the Android MPF hardware only is purchased allong with the emulators I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Publiclly no we do not support other tuning product in respect or the Atric interface or Power gate etc etc that is a non BAS provided tool, as we do not have the needed PC software to recode files for the tools that we do not own.
However, the BAS supplied MPF Android tool is a different matter as I do own the coding for it and so if you buy the hardware only option with no bas remap file we can use it to apply the patch onto your esitsing remap on no DPF cars.

Cutting in to this thread in a bad way here,sorry , been waiting for ages for the emulators and I know they have been out as i check on the BAS site every now and again, but have not been in a rush to get them, now and then I get a fault with one of the EGR's, can clear the fault and every things fine till the next time. Its been happening a lot lately and swmbo is getting a bit pee'd of, my question is why can't they work with on a car with DPF, I suppose my question is really to Pete but any answers are okay so I don't disturb him if i don't need to, we all know how hard he works. 2015 D4 HSE LUX Kaikoura Stone(sold)

Your DPF would end up getting blocked rather quickly I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
