You're not being dense at all.

The tailgate handles are not accessories - just spare factory-fit parts so there has never been instructions for fitting them in the Owner Information area (either on here or on the LR website).

duckworthparts - this post is very confusing - can you please edit the first post to remove the text "door handles" and change it for "rear tailgate handle"? Thumbs Up


justtourin1 - fitting is easy - remove the plastic trim (a few screws and clips) from the bottom of the top tailgate, unbolt the handle from the inside (4 nuts), fit the new one (don't overtighten the nuts as they can shear the studs) and put the trim and rubbers back in place.
