Un-plugged hole in body work
Just got my jack out of the car and I noticed daylight coming through the floor of the jack compartment. When I looked further I found a round hole with about a 1" diameter in the bottom of the jack compartment with no plug in it, just next to where the black foam holder for the jack ends. Directly the other side of the hole is the top of the rear silencer.
Anyone else got this hole or is it plugged in other D3’s?
I have now sealed the hole up with silicone, don’t want the car to fill up if I go wading.

I'm pretty sure mine is plugged with what looks like a metal disc with sealant around periphery. ( I was under it the other day checking the spare was ok and still there, and that the diff wasn't leaking and the tyres weren't wearing badly and that I hadn't squashed my compressor and that........that big nut thingy was...............

Just put pictures of the filled hole on my gallery, the first from the inside and the second from underneath, a picture says a thousand words.

I should mention that you want it plugged as it should be ex build next time you go near your dealer, though I'm sure your temp repair will hold out hudsonian.
