This week...!

Buying my first D3 this week, agreed terms with private seller today at which time we found that his spare was missing Shocked
Looks like RLD is the place to go for a replacement winch and carrier, found them on flea-bay but will pm him once I have my 3 newbee posts Very Happy
Also looking on flea for a wheel and tyre, as the new prices are Rolling with laughter
So hi everyone, I look forward to picking your collective brains as she gently falls apart around me Wink

Welcome Tallbiker,

Firstly RLD makes the spare wheel protector to stop the thieving gist cutting the cable.
Look for either Brad @ Yeovil Land Rover, ( I think you might be in luck if your quick) the have a % off till the end of the month.

Or try Steve @ Advanced factors, I'm not 100% if he does the winch! but great guy to deal with.

As for a wheel, once you post a few more times put a wanted in the for sale/wanted section with a pic or description of what wheel your after.

I have found various versions on E-bay, and recon I have made up a sensible anti theft kit for about £115 (anti theft carrier & winch with sleeve) plus a 2nd hand wheel and tyre off the same site for £275 delivered, so in total £50 less than just a new wheel from LR Shocked
I will have a word with your recommendations when I have a sec also Thumbs Up
