MOT time - 8 Years old next week..... |
|
So, the ol' beast went in for it's MOT today.
Wifey dropped it off at 3.00. Had a phone call at 16:12, the call of doom as I like to refer to it....
Passed with flying colours for another year!
TBH, I'm not surprised, given that it's had £2433.17 spent over the last 6 months replacing all of the suspension front and rear (not including the ARB bars front and rear that I've yet to replace). brake callipers, steering column, Inner/Outer TRE, upper & lower arms front and rear, Shocks/airbags. suspension compressor, prop shaft, drop links, panhard rods ARB bushes and bolts etc
NOT including the brake disks and pads all round, EPB shoes.
and that included a free lower set of front arms!
But, as the car doesn't owe me anything and it's pretty much part of the family, I figured I'd at least try and get it to last another 8 years! Bodsys Brake Bible

I changed all the brake pipes at 101,000 so I've almost caught up with your mileage again
But great result anyway. Bodsys Brake Bible

Mine would have failed MOT last week because one of the LED angel eyes in the foglights didn't work. So I told the dealer to disable both. The car will be 11 years old this coming August.
