I put a bottle of Sea Foam fuel line cleaner through it today and its actually made a noticeable difference. Was sceptical when first poured in but after 10miles lots of black smoke on acceleration and a real chemical smell if that makes sense? This continued for about 50 miles then the smoke died down and just the smell remained. Anyway after a three quarter tank of diesel and a long drive to see some relatives its responding much better (or at least seems to be). I'd give it a go if you haven't run a cleaner through before.
What is this miracle potion you speak of & where can i procure such witchcraft?

Got hold of a set of 5 19” alloys with duratrc tyres fitted. Two of the tyres were brand new. Just put them on the D3.
The verdict is still out on if I like them or not.
What do you guys think
I went to look at a set of these last week for my HSE & struggled with whether i liked them or not. I walked away as they weren't in great condition. In hindsight, I think they just didn't look robust enough compared to the standard issue HSE wheels on Moneypit as a MY07.
I like the simplicity of the originals. I decided to keep mine & will get them refreshed at some point when moneypit's not calling for a spare £400 to be spent on her.
Just my personal opinion. Others will love them i'm sure.
She's costing me more than a mistress at the moment....i'm sure. Dunno which would be more fun!

Last night I towed a 16 tonne tractor unit and trailer out of a field, the driver was desparate so I said I would give it a go ( I didnt think it would but I'd give it a try) well it only bloody well did it, he was well chuffed ( probably as he didnt have to call out a recovery truck ) but didnt offer anything for my trouble Just shows how tuff and versatile these vehicles are 8)
Lovin the profile picture, although i'm sure my Fiat 131 Sport spat a few of those out for breakfast back in the day
Ah Janspeed exhausts, twin 40 Delortos, Kent high lift cams & a Abarth LSD to boot...lovely sound, great raw performance.

I’ve driven mine
After 6 months it reminded me just how much I have missed it and how it really is the best car I have ever owned and am ever likely to own.
Equally important was the fact the nice people at the DVLA let me have my licence back!!! Andy

Had:
- coolant expansion tank replaced due to low coolant warning
- replaced all coolant at the same time
- brake fluid change
- brake hoses were in good shape, no need to change
- cooling blower was screaming, it got replaced with a new one
- a shield was built to prevent water/snow from entering the cabin air intake (there hadn’t been but it sounded like a good idea)
- not all interior lights worked and that was traced to a blown fuse
(I thought had ruled out the fuse...)

Washed mine at the weekend as it was getting dirty.
Gave it a bit of a thrashing on Saturday (late for an event) but mindful of the Duratracs.
