| Front diff, play in input shaft |

Hi just a quick question
Had a front diff issue, sounded a bit rough so got it overhauled by local land rover 'specialist'
Now get a whirring noise whenever accelerator is pressed, declutch or coast ,noise instantly goes.
Had a quick look underneath and there seems a lot of play on input shaft (up and down) must be at least a couple of millimetres, is this right, will be taking it back first thing tomorrow but anyone willing to offer a bit of advice so i am sure what i am talking about, don't want to look a fool if this is norm
A small quick rattle has developed as well as soon as you press accelerator, best described as like loose bolts in drive that is what i was checking for when noticed the play
