My how Bella can fly...end of a nightshift, nothing on the road, two miles of open dual carriageway and a cheeky knock into sports mode
She has a nice growl and hangs on the gears as the go peddle is activated. Happily went at a rate of knots that something of her size really shouldn't do so quickly. Fortunately I have new brakes for the end of the road...
Curious how I have lost 10 miles off my range when I only did two miles. Is my reading wrong??
I be liking my Bella!
So does the missus who decided to take it shopping as her car had a flat tyre. Apparently. Mysteriously re inflated itself by the time I had a look. Tis my car my love. Mine. Not yours. Series 2a V8 killed it

The D3's range and Avg. Fuel consumption sometimes appear to be a bit random and would not get too hung up on exact numbers Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

Let there be light
So LED bulbs put in the rear.
Impressed, especially with the reverse ones (and fogs)
Done all the bulbs inside...daylight even in daylight!
Really happy with the glove box!!
Still have front sidelights to do and both sets of indicators. Done the repeaters though. Completed the EGR blanking but lost two bolts somewhere. Fortunately have a stock of bolts!!!
Must get on with the tiling tomorrow.

Still haven't finished the tiling but I have fitted some seat covers and had the transmission console out to a) see how easy it is and b) see if the ride height switch is knackered.
On b) squirted some WD40 on the connections and things seem a bit better.
Went to the tile shop with her ladyship as a show of enthusiasm Series 2a V8 killed it

Been a little quiet...work, work etc. Oh and using the motorbike quite a bit.
So haven't been in Bella for a while and it is minging...apparently it had been used for mucky dog transport whilst I had been sleeping / working / playing on the bike. Exmoor trim canvas seat covers worked very well !!!
Off to Scotland in a couple of weeks so pulled out the MAP sensor and completely caked in hard soot and no hole. Sorted that.
Header tank is leaking so need to get that replaced (AF expect a call next week ), will also put some Dr Tranny in as the gear change doesn't seem so good. Gearbox flush will need to be scheduled. Plan to put some mudflaps ala series 1 if I get time.
Dearly beloved has booked a gite in the South of France....road trip coming on. Whoop whoop. Now need some window tint (my excuse - the dogs are coming too ) and maybe some boxes and dogguardandtreeslidersandsnorkelandDRLsandooooomust start planning for stuff he he.

Been a tough few months. Father in law sick and sadly passed away (blessing really...bast**rd cancer) then Mother in Law flying over and staying for a month...
Through it all good ol' Disco kept on going without a gripe and being ignored. Did treat her to a wash and polish before the MIL arrived though!!
Backwards and forwards to work. Taking dearly beloved on trips for some time out. Dogs to kennels. Exploring country lanes and now eager anticipation of snow.

So the passenger rear caliper seized causing the pad and disc to become fubar. Emergency KwiK Fit repair for the brakes failed to pick up the caliper and cost one five hour wait for recovery before I wrecked the new discs and pads.
Caliper replaced at Hunters and the rear prop is merrily hanging as the hanger has disintegrated. New prop as well. £750 bill plus brakes from Kwik Fit.
Crying a lot. Better now than on the way to France in the summer or through the roadworks on the motorway after a nightshift.
Miffed that had the truck not been needed in a hurry (back to work tomorrow) and her ladyship needs her car would be doing the prop myself as have done many over the years.
