SafariDave, I wired them into the ignition feed in the fuse box and the negative on the battery, and took the lights apart and used clear silicon to stick them to the lights.

Snailcove, sorry bud, I've been working on them for 3 weeks

Excellent mod. Thumbs Up

Had fairy lights in my old D3 many moons ago.

This is something I've considered for a while but IMHO, you'd get a more rounded look if you use these: E-Bay Link
I fitted those in my front fogs and they are a huge improvement on the standard, spaced, LED's of the older style rings.
I think if you saw then, you'd be taking your headlights apart again to swap them over. Rolling Eyes

Great mod, whichever you use. Thumbs Up
 Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails
Make your own Narpy grill thread
I'm not scared, I'm outta here.

Yes Narpy, you was the 1 I got this idea from Thumbs Up but I did 2 rings instead of 1, I did look at different LED lights and ordered similar ones to your link, but they kept telling me there was a delay on them receiving them, and after 3 weeks, I got my money back and ordered these ones instead, I'm happy with the MOD and don't think I could be bothered to take them apart again. Thumbs Up

I like the idea of this, I am on an extended warranty, any invalidation issues with doing this.

Also on my D4, the main headlight, the outer uppermost one does not have a full circle, there's a slight cut out on one side. How do you get around that.

Picture is upside down, sorry

No mate, both 120mm, the 80mm are for the fog lights, I'm thinking of doing them next, but not sure if it will be to much.
