It's well made and the instructions are pretty straight forward. It took me about an hour to fit. It's not difficult but you need the hands of a small child and towards the end I was getting rather annoyed as I kept dropping the bolts that secure it to the car.
Nothing is impregnable but I'm 100% convinced, if you cannot break the lock, you'd have to cut the wiring and fit a new OBD port, not something your average criminal is going to do. Anyway I can sleep a little easier knowing it's on there. It fits D3 and D4 models.
Thanks.

What about when the car goes in for service, do you leave it in place and give them the key?
What is the difference with that and just unclipping and moving the port. Not many criminals will spend time hunting for the port if it s not in the normal place, they actually will not be able to open the doors if they are double locked to find and access the port if it has been moved.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I can just pull the trim off and unlock it. It take 15 seconds and seeing as the car only gets serviced once a year it's not a problem. I would argue that a robust, locked metal box is slightly more secure than hiding the port given how easy it is to find it again. This also means I don't need to double lock the car every time I leave it.

looks great. For me, though, the cost is quite a lot (£150) given the moving it option probably solves the problem. But if the crims move on their techniques, you're probably more future proof
Alternatively, why not drill holes for the wiring loom in this, and velcro it behind the panel? Locked box, and only £20 down.....

Looks tough
Now though you need to make your house front door tougher 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Another option used by a mate was to get an obd port and short loom from the scrapers move and hide the original and put it in the original place not sure if anyone who has done this has been broken into but may slow the thieving gits down a bit
just got replacement D4 after losing previous one to scum getting to OBD port and spent first afternoon of ownership bolting a sizeable piece of stainless steel in place to at least slow the beggars down if they try again.
I was trying to do the "move the port and fit a dummy one" approach but couldn't for the life of me unclip it from normal location. As per a previous comment, you need child-sized hands and I gave up whilst I still had all my fingers and controllable blood-loss.
Doesn't mean I've given up totally yet ... and as I'll need to do about an hour's piddling about for legit access to the port, I'm clearly going to have to revisit this.
Has anyone got instructions on how I get the thing loose ? Or, better still, pictures ?

Thanks for sharing this.
I did look for one a while ago but couldn't find one for the D4.
I've just ordered one as £150 to protect a £50k car makes sense to me.
If your new D4 does get stolen it is likely to be via the OBD port.
This will also protect the car whilst it is left at a garage as well as on your drive.D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.

I am considering to buy one of these for my Landmark to protect the vehicle and for piece of mind. Insurance company suggested it might save £10 on insurance policy if fitted.

I thought the security update stopped you programming a key using standard equipment. Might be worth checking you have had the update, however I believe it means getting any new key programmed by dealer.
I spoke with LR ... well, emailed them that is ... the update was vehicles MY12 and later and they don't offer it as retro-fit on older vehicles.
I'm going to persevere with mechanical lock approach for now.
