Fitted my new rock and tree sliders today

Hello all, well I got around to fitting my rock and tree sliders today, that I brought off Robbie. I must say I think they look great.
Here are a few from last April when I first brought my D3:

And here are a few from today:

The only thing I can't decide is to weather put grip tape on the sliders or not, as people will use them as a step to get in especially my fiancée as she didn't really want me to take the LR steps off.

Only the Ant Hill Mob make running boards look good, so a huge improvement.

Thanks again Robbie they are great.

I originally brought the wheels just for the tyres but I liked this wheel better than the standard 18" 5 spoke ones. Plus I like to be a little different and haven't seen any other discovers with them on.

I had thought of painting the wheels black but I'm not sure if it will suit the Tonga green or not.

Tonga looks good with gloss black wheels in my view.

Thumbs Up

Now I've lost the silver trim off the side steps I might have them done.

I put grip tape on the sliders of a challenge truck and it works very well as it's pretty high and usually very muddy. Not sure I would put it on an every day car though as it hurts if catch your leg on it!
