Hi Richard had a new torque converter fitted so all is ok with the fluctuating rev counter and strange sqarking noise from underneath. Vibration when you let power off at above 50 is getting worse. I now suspect front diff but will know more when a friend of my local garage who works for a landrover dealership takes it out for a drive on Saturday. It is booked into paint shop on Monday for passenger front and rear doors painting. That will be free but front diff will be down to me How are you ?

I'm good thanks
That's good the torque converter didn't cost you anything - hope the diff doesn't bankrupt you
I hope not I am going to service him myself, just the basics, get to know the car a little better and save some money. I have to admit the how to guides on here are brilliant and are a credit to the people who write them. It has inspired me to service him anyway First time may be tough but I will learn from there. Just getting a four poster ramp installed on the drive
