Well its about time the D3 did the Paris-Dakar. My hat goes off to these guys, fantastic work. I have seen some of the stuff they did before, they do great work.

There is similar set of pictures from preparations of one D3 in Poland. They're just starting though ... So, car just emptied now. Interestingly, also looks like manual and springs suspension..

i suspect that they are taking the air sus off as it has too many faults when ragging it off road, and they woulldn't want to do many rolling re-boots when racing.I'm Powered by........Diesel
I suspect it was a coiler to start with, little point in getting an air sprung one and going to all the hassle of changing the set-up, changing the shocks would be the easy bit, stopping the software from having a hissy fit would be a nightmare!The End
