hse or se
Can someone please tell me the obvious difference between these two models( SE/HSE) other than the H on the badge?Its Just a curiosity thing ,also im going to be adding a set of new front head lights as ideally id like xenon is it a straight forward change? and wheres best to get some?thanks

I'm fairly sure that se/hse come with xenon as standard, even my S has them fitted

That's what I would have thought but ive just brought a 2006 se which has everything on it except sunroof/xenon headlights strange but hopefully a easy fix

my 2005 se has xeons and some other bits but the sunroof is mainly a hse thing i believe Discovery 3 se gone

It's a very easy change. Just remove your existing ones and fit the new ones.
You can update the vehicle to tell it you have Xenons or they will probably flicker a little after turning them on. Not really an issue though.

The sunroof is the biggest and perhaps, most defining, difference. Particularly in the case of 06MYs, there's also adaptive headlights and rear HVAC. I spent ages deciding which one to get, and after deciding that an SE had enough toys, didn't have sunroofs to leak and would be a better price, bought an HSE.
You won't regret either.

Mine is a 05 se with xenon, I think they took them off 06 se and put roof rails on and front fogs, which my 05 did not have (has now)
