My old disco 3, Not!
So I adopted her when she was a year old and have spoilt her always. Now she's 8 years old I keep thinking should I put her up for adoption now.
Today I drove her to the NEC Birmingham from Kent (I've been all over Europe in her and she's never let me down). Nice relaxing drive, 60's 70's 80's and the odd ton here and there when SHMBO was snoozing. You know what? She was a dream. On the way back I was passed by newer Disco 4's and 3's and I passed a few too.
Patted the steering wheel and thought don't worry your still a head turner, daddy won't sell you!
After all these years and sheds loads of money I'm still in love with my Discovery 3, even though I have read about some nightmares on here, deep breaths every time !
Give her the best and she will return the gesture!
Let's see what the next year of disco 3 ownership will bring, hope she's gentle on my wallet!!!
I've gone all romantic on my D3.

I'm the same, after falling in love with them after seeing a pre release model in Scotland back in the day, I always dreamed of the day of owning one. As much as I don't like it at times they do get under your skin.

I fell out of love with my 57 plate SE this year - divorced a month now - not because she'd let me down, but because she was going to let me downSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
