I've had a 55 plate D3 HSE for the last 7 years going from 34k to 130k miles, it's been well serviced by local Indie and myself and isn't causing any issues.
Currently travelling circa 25k/annum and need a large vehicle to carry stuff around (run 2 pubs in Cambridge).
Still use the D3 as the family car, although less often as the kids are now growing up.
Looking for some advise/ ideas/ insight into what to do:
1 Keep the D3 and hope all goes well
2 look to purchase a D4 with less miles circa 60k (still quite pricey)
3 quite fancy a Range Rover TDV8 (only because of the engine) as they seem better value for money.
Don't have too much cash to splash at the moment as second pub still needs investment so a new vehicle needs to earn it's keep/ no point paying loads in depreciation as mileage is high.
Any views appreciated.

If it's working fine and works as a vehicle for what you need, then why get rid?
If you want and can afford a change, why not?

If funds are limited then better the devil you know, in my opinion.

Cant you get the business to pay for the car, or at least the running of the car?

No brainer. Keep it. D4 would be expensive to get into. V8 is your heart leading the way, and could be more expensive to keep running.
