Thanks all,
OK so the smile has dropped a little but not too much
Car is in RK Automotive having new Torque Converter, 100k service inc both belts and a new oil pump
Just had a call to say the rear prop centre bearings are shot and it'll need a new one, another £250 oh well at least there is no labour for fitting it
Will report back once I have it which should be Monday

Got her back today and have spent the best parts of £4k getting her up to spec
What a difference, smooth quiet, seamless gear changes and no more wandering all over the place, money well spent me thinks

Lovely looking car and I am glad you have now got the mechanical bits up to the same standard as the cosmetics.
