That looks great - but what a price! How would a group buy work then?A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

I'm looking at them, but don't think I could afford one... Or warrant one!
I'm sure I saw that Metal Monster Junk sold one in the for sale section a couple of months ago... I'm sure the price was £300 too! 07 Land Rover Discovery III HSE

From the traders point of view or the buyers point of view?
Group buys can be a real PITA to organise!
As a trader we can save money on transport costs, basically the more we can get on a pallet the cheaper the carriage costs per item. As a trader the more of one item we can buy at a time the cheaper the item costs is to us. When we did the Defender 2 group buy we had 19 people interested who paid a £50 deposit each. We got a slightly better price as we bought a pallet of 22-24 wheel carriers, when we got the pallet in we got paid for 19 wheel carriers before we had to pay our bill and they went out in next few days so saving us on warehouse costs. Also if it is a new item it helps to get the new items out into the market place and people talking about it.
From the customers point of view?
Customers decides if he wants the item and then signs up for the offer. Sends off billing address and delivery address if different plus any deposit that is required. We ask for a deposit on expensive items as people will sign up for group buy and not go through with it. When goods are available pays the balance and gets the goods within a couple of days. If customer wants anything else they can often save on carriage costs.
The current swingaway wheel carriers for D3/4 are mild steel and about £1,000, the Nakatanenga stainless steel one is cheaper and on the group buy available for as low as £800 including VAT and carriage. However this group buy looks dead in the water at the moment.
