Wheel balancing
Have all four tyres replaced on the 'van next week, they are dated 2008, so original fit! What's the forum opinion on balancing, I see the caravan club says its not essential and apparently they don't necessarily come balanced out of the factory.==================================

Its likely that you are well aware of the effect of an imbalanced wheel on a car and the additional wear on suspension and shocks absorbers that result. Why should a caravan be any different? For the marginal cost of getting it done while the tyres are swapped I would definitely get it done.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Bailey laser balance all their new wheels out of the factory. I'd get them done

You are unlikely to notice any difference sat in the tow car but it can only help the caravans running gear if you have the option to have them balanced.

I had ours balanced, not for any other reason than my own peace of mind. caravan wheels dont sit on a center hub flange (well not on an ALKO chassis they dont), they rely upon the tapered wheel bolts to center them so guess they'll never be as "balanced" as the cars rims
