Well, I hopefully should get my 5 badges today - managed to sweet talk a seller on e-bay to let me have 5 wheel centre's for £15.00 all in
But when I was having a look about my car and badges, and the FFRR link, is it just as easy to change the black plastic badges on the door cards to a nice shiney back and silver one, as if I am doing all the badges, might as well go overboard
Anyone thought of doing this???

The FFRR door cards (wood?) are different, I had a look at my D3 door last night & it looks as though they are just plastic moulded as part of the door card, rather than a (potentially) removable one. But feel free to be the first to try it...... and be sure to post the results.Bodsys Brake Bible

Will have to wait till I get some more badges, as the 5 I have just got are all ear marked.........
What a nightmare....all shiny....impossible to photo properly but you will see the effect.
Actually IMO these are a much better made badge...slightly bigger/thicker writing and the lettering is totally covered in resin...if you run your fingers over the wheel badge ones you can feel the raised lettering on them...not on these...
tried the best i can with the photos.
Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated TLO has left the building.......

just in case of confusion they come on a spindly piece of plastic...not the centre cap as in the first picture.

All down to individual tastes Steve, the lads at work just had a poll on my black wheels & it's 50/50 on who likes them or prefers the Silver ones....
Now I've got a taste for these black bits, it seems an obvious step to remove the green ones.
but that's what's great about these cars, the ammount of individualisation you can do with them. 8)Bodsys Brake Bible
