De-tango Complete
When I bought the car 5 years ago the front lights were cracked and crazed. Today I finally go around to changing the plastic and de-tangoing while I was at it.
Just the side repeaters to swap out for clear ones and that will be all the lights modernised!

The LED lightbar is very bright but I haven't actually used it yet. Truth be told it isn't properly wired in because I am having trouble finding a hole through the bulkhead for the wiring. It's a manual so no spare hole where the clutch isn't on an auto.

Already ordered the clear ones with LEDs to go with them. I thought clear all round rather than the smoked but I am sure both look better than orange.

I don't have fog lights on the car but I thought about putting DRLs in the headlights then decided against.
I have used the iid tool to programme Canadian lights so the xenons come on automatically when the engine is running. The back lights come on as well so no driving around and forgetting to put the lights on.

Your car looks very similar to my own D3 when I first got it.
You should do the front fog mod and install the halos, then do a grill mod.
Both those drastically change the whole look of the standard D3.

I did away with the chrome bar as soon as the front fogs were completed, it was there when I got the car and oddly, still have it kicking around my man shed.
The detango is not for me though.

Once you have the middle bar cut out, it should be a simple enough job to fit the light bar in it's place. Mods:

Thanks for that.
Excellent instructions so I will read them through carefully and then decide whether to tackle it or not. I am not really sure that the light bar will fit without some alterations and I don't have tools to be able to do that.
