Hi
Can anyone please pm about how to remove the towbar from my D4. It's a fixed adjustable height type. I have both keys and have applied a copious amount of penetrating fluid, it unlocks ok, but the damn thing refuses to turn.
I know there is a way to remove them, any help would be appreciated..
Cheers

Is there any movement, i.e. rotates a little then stops? If so you need to pull it out a little then turn some more. De-Tango
V8 Brakes
EGRs blanked
Running boards
3 flash indicators and clock on dash
Blingy grille...

I assume you have the bars off? Give the 'detachable' part a good few wallops with a lump hammer to free if a bit and the wriggle the green handle while tapping the tow bar left and right with the lump hammer

Thanks for the replies. I removed the side bars no problem, that was the easy bit, gave up on it today, will use the large persuader on it and have another go and see what happens.
