2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Java Black

Mine sounds exactly the same, has done for the past year/10k I've owned it and I'm told by the previous owner it was the same for the previous 50k/4 years. It's been absolutely fine.

I was considering changing the oil pump when I do the belts later this year going from DM's experience but only because it'll be in bits.

2009 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi, mines and auto and had a similar sound.....I started to add 2 stroke mineral oil in a full tank of fuel (BP or Shell) a few months ago and since then it's been hardly noticeable. Discovery 3 2.7 v6 HSE

I put 200ml of MINERAL oil in per full tank....I buy the 500ml bottle (carplan) from the BP garage I use. Think it's £4.99 and has measuring marks on the side. Discovery 3 2.7 v6 HSE
