Just managed to purchase 5 of the above tyres from 4x4tyres.co.uk. Arriving Tuesday. They had 13 in stock prior to my purchase.

Will upload pictures when fitted.

As promised.

Got to find my Black centre caps in the garage. In two minds to put black wheel studs on.

They grip better in the wet than the pirelli scorpion zero they replaced.

They look great!
How noisy are they on highway? How much has the MPG dropped? Any rubbing on sharp turns?
Can you put up a frontal shot from a bit of a distance to see the stance.

There is an increase in road noise but in my opinion it is not to intrusive. Can not tell yet if any significant difference in the mpg from using road tyres. Will post any difference shortly.

The tyre size does impinge on any movement of the wheels. The spare fits comfortably in the spare wheel well at normal tyre pressure.

They also appear to handle clear surface water more effectively.

thanks

I may stand corrected but I believe that the spare wheel has to be partially deflated to fit in the wheel carrier.

Also I am not sure that if the if the suspension goes down to the bump stops that there might be an issue.

The following might be of use in respect of wheel spacers and lift rods:

I am sure that one of the tyre experts on the forum would give you a definitive answer.

My265 spare is fitted and is at full pressure but did need the shield removing and is very tight. But no rubbing even in access mode.

Andy, you are saying that the 265 65 18 BFG K02's on your D3 are not rubbing on access mode or even when turning on access mode? And you don't have a lift?

I'd be interested to hear Landy_Andy's response, but I believe from the reading I've done here and elsewhere that this is the case. There can be minor rubbing in extreme articulation and wheel angle cases, but only on the plastic inner arches and nothing significant.

Thats why I am interested in the GoodYear Wrangler Adventurer w Kevlar it's a 255 65 18, It's 51 PSI and T111. This tire might be the perfect solution it's 31.1" no lift needed or rubbing.
